Water-Ski Wipeout is an entry in the Hardy Boys Clue Book series, aimed at younger readers. Frank and Joe Hardy are enjoying a summer day near the lake or ocean when they must investigate a case involving a water-ski champion who has suffered an unexplained "wipeout." The boys suspect foul play when the champion's equipment is found to be tampered with.
