Nanook the Snow Monster is a massive, formidable Beast whose elemental power is focused on ice and crushing cold. The quest takes Tom to the desolate, freezing northern wastes of Avantia. Nanook’s dark magic has plunged the region into a perpetual, deadly winter, trapping innocent people and freezing the land. Tom must contend with blizzards, ice traps, and the Beast's chilling breath, which can freeze victims instantly. The mission requires finding an item or exploiting a weakness that counters the Beast’s affinity for cold. This adventure tests Tom’s endurance and introduces the constant threat of hypothermia and the difficulty of movement in an icy, featureless environment.
