The Silver Chair is the sixth published (fourth chronological) novel in The Chronicles of Narnia series. The story introduces two new protagonists: Eustace Scrubb (reformed from his unpleasantness in the previous book) and his school friend, Jill Pole. They are summoned to Narnia by Aslan and tasked with a vital mission: to find Prince Rilian, King Caspian's son, who has been missing for a decade. Their quest leads them far into the northern wilds, where they are guided by the memorable, pessimistic Marsh-wiggle, Puddleglum. The journey takes them underground to a hidden realm ruled by the treacherous Green Witch, where they must rely on faith, courage, and Puddleglum's grim common sense to rescue the enchanted Prince.
