The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is the first published and most famous novel in The Chronicles of Narnia series. The story follows the four Pevensie children—Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy—who are evacuated from London during the Blitz to the countryside. While exploring a large house, the youngest, Lucy, discovers a magical wardrobe that leads her to the land of Narnia, a world trapped in perpetual winter by the cruel White Witch. The children soon join forces with talking animals, mythical creatures, and the magnificent lion, Aslan, the true King of Narnia. They embark on a quest to defeat the Witch, restore spring, and fulfill an ancient prophecy, learning about sacrifice, loyalty, and faith in the process of their grand adventure.
