Jack and Annie are sent back to Elizabethan England, landing near the famous, bustling Globe Theatre in London. They are searching for the next item on Morgan le Fay's list. They arrive just before a royal performance of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. They meet the legendary playwright, William Shakespeare, who is distraught because he has lost the final act of his play. They must help him find his lost manuscript and save the performance from disaster. They learn about the theater, acting, and the life of a playwright in 16th-century London. They rely on their wits and their knowledge of the play to navigate the crowded theater and help the great bard complete his work, learning about the creative process in the process.
