Jack and Annie, two siblings from Frog Creek, Pennsylvania, discover a mysterious tree house filled with books high in the woods near their home. They quickly realize the tree house is magic when the book they point to—a book about dinosaurs—whirls them back in time to the prehistoric Cretaceous period. They encounter various types of dinosaurs, including a gentle Triceratops and a flying Pteranodon. The adventure quickly turns terrifying when they are hunted by a massive, hungry Tyrannosaurus rex. They must figure out the magic required to get home before the T. rex finds them or they are stranded forever. This trip marks the beginning of their incredible time-traveling adventures and their quest to figure out the tree house's great secret.
