Welcome to Camp Slither is the ninth book in the Goosebumps HorrorLand sub-series. The story features a new protagonist sent to a mysterious and unsettling summer camp, which quickly reveals itself to be much darker and weirder than advertised. The camp, named Camp Slither, is likely run by, or infested with, terrifying reptiles or serpent-like creatures. The plot combines the classic summer camp horror trope with the ongoing meta-story of the sinister HorrorLand theme park, where all the unfortunate victims of R.L. Stine's stories are being trapped. The hero must survive the scaly dangers of the camp while trying to unravel the mystery of the park and escape before they become permanent residents of the terrifying resort.
