Narga the Sea Monster is the third book in Series 3, The Army of Darkness. Narga is another colossal aquatic Beast, similar to Sepron, but its dark magic focuses on sheer brute force and the ability to drag victims down into the crushing ocean depths. Tom must once again brave the treacherous waves, often requiring the use of a magical or specially constructed boat. The quest involves a deep-sea confrontation, emphasizing the challenge of fighting in a three-dimensional, dark environment where Narga has every advantage. Tom must find a vulnerability that can be exploited amidst the waves to break the curse and release the monster.
