The Magician's Nephew is the sixth published (first chronologically) book in C.S. Lewis's The Chronicles of Narnia. It tells the origin story of Narnia. Two children from London, Digory Kirke and Polly Plummer, are tricked by Digory's evil Uncle Andrew into traveling to another world, where they accidentally awaken the evil Queen Jadis. Their actions lead to them witnessing the creation of Narnia by Aslan, and they are responsible for bringing the seeds of good and evil into the new world.
