Mr Gum and the Secret Hideout is a novel from the fantastically silly Mr Gum series. The titular anti-hero, Mr. Gum, the nasty, grumpy man who lives in the disgusting town of Lamonic Bibber, is likely planning a new, dastardly scheme. The plot centers on the discovery or creation of a Secret Hideout, which Mr. Gum and his villainous accomplice use for their nefarious (and usually ridiculous) purposes. It’s up to the kind little girl Polly and her friends to foil the scheme, ensuring more absurd chaos ensues.
