Truckers is the first novel in Terry Pratchett's beloved The Nome Trilogy. The story introduces the Nomes, a race of tiny, four-inch-tall beings who believe their world is the huge human department store, Arnold Bros (est. 1905), where they live beneath the floorboards. The protagonist, Masklin, is a Nome from the Outside who brings the shocking news that the Store is scheduled to be torn down.
