Jack and Annie are whisked away to ancient Japan, landing near a secretive, highly disciplined ninja training camp. They are seeking the next rhyme in Morgan le Fay's code. They encounter a sensei and must learn the ways of the shadow warriors, including techniques of stealth, discipline, and overcoming fear. They are forced to utilize these newfound skills to navigate a dark forest and evade a group of pursuing samurai. Their mission takes them through a treacherous mountain landscape under the cover of night. They rely on their wits and speed to complete their difficult, daring task, discovering the history and purpose of the ninjas. The adventure culminates in a final test of courage and loyalty before they successfully return to the tree house.
