The magic tree house transports Jack and Annie to the icy, desolate landscape of the Arctic. They find themselves in a snowy, freezing environment where the local inhabitants are the Inuit people. Their mission is to find a specific magical scroll. They quickly encounter a friendly polar bear cub and learn about the local wildlife, including seals. Their adventure takes a dangerous turn when they must help a trapped seal and avoid the cub’s much larger, protective, and potentially aggressive mother. They learn about survival in the extreme cold and the traditions of the indigenous Inuit people. They must rely on their courage and respect for nature to navigate the treacherous ice floes and complete their task while dealing with the intense, freezing temperatures of the high North before safely returning to the tree house.
